NEET UG 2025 News and Updates

National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam is conducted by NTA every year. NTA releases updates regarding NEET exam on its website. Candidates can visit www.neet.nta.nic.in which is the official website for NEET 2025 to stay updated with all the news and announcements. NTA has released an information bulletin for NEET 2025. Here are the latest updates on the NEET exam.

NEET 2025 Exam Details

NEET 2025 will be conducted on 4th May 2025.
The timing will be from 2 PM to 5 PM (IST).
The duration will be 180 minutes or 3 hours.
The exam will be conducted in 13 languages – Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

NEET Application

The NEET application is out. The submission of application form has started from 7th February 2025.
The last submission date is 7th March 2025.
The application can be only submitted online through the website neet.nta.nic.in.

Application Fee

The last date of submitting the application fee is 7th March 2025, up to 11:50 PM

Exam/Question Paper Pattern

NEET 2025 exam pattern will be in the pre-covid format.
There will not be any section B in the question papers.
The question paper will contain a total of 180 questions which will be compulsory. 45 questions will be from Physics and Chemistry each. There will be 90 questions from Biology.
The duration of NEET 2025 exam will be 180 minutes (3 hours).

City Intimation

Announcement of city intimation will be done by 26th April 2025.

Admit Card

Admit cards will be available for download by 1st May 2025. Candidates need to login on the NTA official website to download an admit card.

Result

NEET 2025 result will be declared by 14 June 2025. This is a tentative date.

Use of ADHAAR and APAAR ID

NTA encourages NEET candidates to update their Aadhar credentials and integrate their APAAR ID.
APAAR ID is not mandatory for registering for the NEET exam. Candidates can use other approved means to register for the exam.
NTA has released a step-by-step guide to generate ABC ID, now known as APAAR ID. Candidates can visit www.neet.nta.nic.in to find the steps.
Candidates can visit https://apaar.education.gov.in to get more clarity and references regarding APAAR ID.
