Instructions for Entering NEET Exam Hall

  1. The candidate should reach the exam center before 1:30 pm. They will not be allowed to enter the exam hall after 1:30 pm.
  2. The candidate should follow all the instructions and a dress code for NEET.
  1. The candidate should not indulge in any unfair activity.
  2. The candidate should inform the invigilator about the unfair practices carried around them.
  3. The candidate should cooperate during the frisking/checking before the examination.
  4. The candidate should avoid bringing the barred items to the examination.
  5. Candidates suffering from diabetes can carry eatables (with prior intimation) like sugar tablets/fruits and transparent water bottles. They will not be allowed to carry packed food like chocolates and sandwiches.

  2. A passport-size photograph to be affixed to the attendance sheet.
  1. Proforma downloaded with the admit card. A postcard-size (4” X 6”) color photograph with a white background should be pasted on the proforma.
  2. An authorized photo ID card. This photo ID card can be a PAN card, Driver License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card, Ration Card, Class 12 Admit Card with a photograph, or any other valid photo ID issued by the Government.
  3. PwBD certificate issued by the authorities for candidates applying for the PwBD category.

Guidelines Regarding Barred Items

NTA has prepared a list of items prohibited from being carried in the exam hall. Candidates have to adhere to these guidelines to appear for the NEET exam. Candidates undergo frisking with metal detectors to stop the prohibited items from being carried into the examination hall.
